European Mission, May 2001
Secretary MAR Roxas, with Undersecretary Vincent Perez, leads a Philippine Information Technology (IT) Trade and Investment Mission to Europe in May 19 to 31, 2001. Mr. Roxas heads the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) and chairs the Information Technology and E-commerce Council (ITECC) of the Philippines. He brings with him a prestigious delegation of Philippine business leaders who have been propelling the country into the IT era.
The European Mission promotes the Philippines as “Your Business Partner in Asia”, a viable and strategic business location, the world’s richest source of knowledge workers and Asia’s E-services hub.
The delegation is set to meet with international government and business personalities from Stockholm, Helsinki, Rotterdam, London, Berlin, Munich, and Zurich within the 12-day visit.
